Everything is in order.

Nice, relaxed day before heading to the airport. I packed very light b/c I have no reason to bring much. This trip will be a precursor to many more to come of which I hope to hone in my skills of traveling long and lightly. I hate having too many things to worry about. One checked bag and one carry on. No purses and nothing fancy. Just me and easy clothes and shoes. :)

I spend the past two days sleeping and packing so I feel confident I didn’t rush myself into forgetting anything. Whereas it is spring here, I expect it to still be somewhat of a winter there. Considering how far north the UK is in comparison to NJ, I packed accordingly.

I look forward to many winded walks with my coat clenched tight to my body and my hands fitted cozily in my pockets. I hope I get some poignant picture and a new sense of the world I have grown somewhat tired of. I decided to leave my computer behind which is bold. I haven’t been without a computer in years and my dependency is almost blind. So to that I tip my hat in farewell. ;)

So Paris. Whats up?

I’m thinking Sacre Coeur and the Eiffel tower and maybe Notre Dame and the Dali Museum. I have 10 hours to screw around with before my connector flight to Scotland.

I hear the subway system from the airport around the city is pretty decent.
